Research CIETA congress meetings Every other year during the meeting of the General Assembly of CIETA members, international conferences are held in French and in English, to evaluate progress in current research on ancient textiles. The contents of these lectures are then published in the annual Bulletin. These congress meetings have brought members together since the creation of CIETA in 1954. Now organized over 4 days each time in a different city and country, they are an opportunity for exchanges and visits. The CIETA congress meetings have been held in: Lyon, France in 2005, Lisbon, Portugal in 2003, Lyon, France in 2001, Bern, Switzerland in 1999, Cambridge, Great Britain in 1997, Paris, France in 1995, Lyon, France in 1993, Copenhagen, Denmark in 1991… Technical Dossiers Members of CIETA have produced analyses of works which can be consulted at the CIETA Library, within the Documentation Centre of the Musée des Tissus et des Arts décoratifs de Lyon, France.   http://www.musee-des-tissus.com/
